Choose the right film

Give the story a clear purpose.

A website introduction, a service explanation and a project update ask different things of a film. Start with one thing the viewer should understand or do next.

We shape interviews, working footage and location scenes around that purpose. Sound, light and pacing help the film feel like your business, while keeping the message easy to follow.

Apex Live Edge. From forest to finished piece.

A guided interview carries the story. Workshop scenes, forest footage and finished furniture bring the people and materials into view.

The production brief

A little planning makes the shoot count.

01

The audience and placement

Tell us who needs to see the film and whether it will live on a website, social channel, ad or presentation. Length and framing follow the job.

02

People and access

Choose the people who can explain the work. We plan interview space, site access, permissions and working scenes before the camera comes out.

03

The finished collection

Agree the main film, any shorter versions and the delivery formats in the brief. Music, captions and photography can be discussed alongside the edit.

Project questions

A few things to know before we shoot.

What is the difference between a brand film and a business promo video?

A brand film gives people a fuller sense of your business, often through an interview, working scenes and the setting. A promo usually focuses on a specific service, offer or campaign. We choose the format around the message and where it will be used.

Can you plan vertical social edits alongside a website video?

Yes. Tell us the channels and placements before filming so we can plan framing, coverage and edit formats together. The final videos and any shorter versions are agreed in the project brief.

Can one shoot include both video and brand photography?

Yes. Nate works on film and Ali on photography. A coordinated production can cover both, with a schedule that gives interviews, working scenes and photographs the time they need.

Ready to shape the work?

Let’s talk about your next project.

Tell us what the film needs to explain, who it is for and where it will be seen.
